Model files stay in your browser
The STL Viewer and Model Size Checker read files selected or dropped into the tool using browser APIs. Model bytes are not sent to our server. The page holds the parsed geometry in memory while you use it. Clearing the model or leaving the page releases the tool’s references to that data.
We do not promise that a browser or operating system immediately overwrites released memory. Do not use a shared device for confidential work without your own appropriate controls.
Ordinary website requests
Loading the site sends standard connection information, such as your IP address and requested URL, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may retain operational or security logs under their own policies. Local file processing does not make ordinary website browsing anonymous.
Analytics, storage and subscriptions
This version does not integrate analytics, advertising pixels, an account system or a newsletter service. Search and finder choices are kept in page state. Model files and case-like payloads are not written to localStorage. We do not show a subscription form that collects an email address.
Third-party websites
Following an official product or resource link takes you to a different service with its own privacy policy. If referral links are added, the destination may use referral tracking. We label sponsored links in accordance with our affiliate disclosure.
Policy updates and enquiries
Check the contact page for the status of our public enquiry channel. If data handling changes, this policy should be updated before the new collection begins.
